Sprockets!

RE: Sprockets!
Don't forget that the Speedo is driving off the gearing on most newer bikes..so your speed is going to be off alot with that type of gearing...lets say that you are reading 70, but your actual ground speed is 55, drive for 2 hours and your bike thinks you went 140 miles, but reality is only 110 miles were covered, and that error is only after 2 hours of driving.!!!!
Contact Cal-Sportbike ( sponsor here) they sell the speedo-healer which will help recalibrate your speedometer

RE: Sprockets!
ive got two up out back on my recently purchased 99 f4, and I am having trouble keeping the front wheel on the ground through third gear... but i only weigh about a buck sixty... too much fun... im just getting used to my new ride, and the two up make a huge diff imo...ive ridden other cbr's...even a 929 that didnt lift like my lil 6 does.

RE: Sprockets!
so lets say i wanna go faster than " honda " allows this bike to go then can i in theory take a rear sprocket with say like 3 teeth less and now rack up less miles on the bike get better gas mileage and possibly break 200 mph and not have to go get some nasty *** crapabusa. acceleration is not a problem on this motorcycle so i don't think that less teeth out back would have too large of a negative affect on get up and go. let me know what you guys think, sure as hell would help keep the front wheel on the ground
