Default Disc Locks

Anyone ever use one? I was looking at getting the XENA disc lock since it has a 110db siren on it and it motion and shock sensative.

I was just wondering about these as well. I'm going back to college soon and will need it to be locked up while I'm there. I saw some kryponite ones, but I'm not sure what would be best.

I just bought one, it seems like a good product. It locks & will alarm if domeone tampers with your bike. I think if someone really waants to steal your bike they'll get it... But the biggest thing is to deter as many as possible. & cheaper than a built in system that still doesn't give ya 100% protection.

I used one for a while until I forgot to take it off and snapped it. I dont think they'll stop a thief but definately slow him down.

I had one. It worked pretty well. Just make sure to get the biggest size you can for your rotors so it fits snug. They are pretty loud! Just make sure you attatch something to the lock and your handle bar so you remember to take it off!!! I deffinately wont stop anyone, but it REALLY works if you have that and you chain your bike to something, because then is kind works as a shock sensor and give you enough time to check out what is going on.

I have a Xena... works perfectly. Loud *** siren annoys the **** out of the neighbors when I'm taking the cover off. With the lock on, nobody can move the bike other than lifting it off the ground. When you do move it even a little bit it will set the alarm off. It's not a conventional alarm either, it will seriously hurt your ears when it's close to your head.

I've bought a Kryptonite Disco a number of years ago. It's tough as hell and inexpensive but it doesn't have a siren. I used it in conjunction with a Gorilla touch sensitive alarm system.
