One of my side interests is doing custom vinyl graphics. Here's an image of some work i've done on my own bike that shows the difference between the factory graphics and some of my own:

do you use the same quality vinyl? I have autocad and can make dxf's can you work with that?

 

there are basically 2 levels of vinyl - intermediate and premium. i typically use an 8-year premium vinyl on cycle graphics. how that compares to the factory decals i don't know, but it's mighty good vinyl.

i prefer .eps vector files, but i can import .dxf files too. and i can work with pretty much work with any rasterized format.

 

any discoloration from waxing?
