the 900rr has a 17' rear and 16' front wheel so i would say no on the 900rr, but as far as 929/954 im not sure but it would look better than the 3 spoke. why would u put the rc51 wheels on the 900rr they have the 6 spoke just like the rc51

YES IT WILL! YOU MUST USE THE TRIPLE TREE AND FORKS OFF THE RC-51 FOR FRONT WHEEL! THE REAR WHEEL WILL SIT INTO SWING ARM PERFECTLY! BUT! MUST CONVERT TO 520 CONVERSION TO HAVE SPACING OF WHEEL WITH TIRE FROM RUBBING AGAINST CHAIN! RUN A 190/50/17! DON'T PUT A 200/50/17 ON BIKE! ANY OTHER ?S HIT DAT GASS AND BURN DAT ***!!! BE SAFE!!!

CAN ALSO USE F3 (95-99) FRONT WHEEL FOR 17 in. CONVERSION! MUCH CHEAPER! ALSO, GIVE MARTIN A CALL @ KOSMAN SPECIALTIES! THEY WIDEN THE REAR WHEEL ON ALL 900s FOR ABOUT $425! CHEAP!

O.K. I know this is my first post and all, I couldn't help it. I was surfing thru the pages here and told myself I have to help!!!!

To answer your question in three parts...... Part 1. NO, the RC-51/929/954/1000RR/600RR wheels WILL NOT FIT the 900RR's front end.Part 2. Yes the RC-51 front wheels will fit onto the 929/954 front ends with changing out the wheel bearings to 29/54 bearings and inner collar. Then you mustget different spacers made to center the wheel between the calipers. Then you have to use 29/54 brake rotors to use the brake calipers properly. Part 3. Yes a CBR929 or CBR954 complete front end will bolt directly up to the 900RR!!!! The only thing you must check is the steering bearings. Make sure they are the same on the stem and in the frame (ie: tappered roller bearings vs ball bearings)

With that all said just to let you know, I have a 99 900RR. It has an '03 954 front end with an '02+ RC51 front wheel with 929 rotors and a 929 front fender. I am also using the 900's brake calipers. So I KNOW it will all work.

Laters.

Why don't you just do the 98+ vfr front wheel? From what others have said, it bolts up. Don't quote me on that, though.

been there done that as well. if you want get a full radial gsxr 1000 front end. use roller bearings and there is a bearing conversion for a 2001 sv 650 to put gsxr forks on. that bearing conversion bolts to the cbr as well. would look awsome with gold and black forks.

Sime on rrzone knows about the RC51 wheels and what they fit. I think he did have one on his 900rr with 929rr forks, RC51 front wheel. He did say something about changing out the bearings, collar, and spacers. speaking of front wheels.. i need a new one or my F3 17" front repaired.

I just need to sell my bike. I've put way too much money into it already.
