Will a 900rr rear rim fit on a F2 swinger..?
You guys do know that the only ones who can really tell a big difference is a pro rider on a closed course, I have seen some stretched and lowerde bikes run some decent numbers at the tracks, nothing spectacular but better than the average Joe could run on a tricked out race bike!!
and the reason I want a 900 rim is because it was designed with a 180 tire in mind. I'd rather not be pinching a 180 onto a 160-designed rim...
Just safer in my opinion..
thanks but they're not mine...lol... check out customfighters.com
fighters are meant for highspeeds AND corners... basically on highway driving and tight city roads. Built for the track? not exactly. I also have a 93 f2 stock rims with a 180 in the rear. It seats fine and I've had no issues. just my .02
look up tl1000r f2 track build on here, he did a swap with the 900rr rim, has drawings for the spacers and all
he also swapped out the forks with some shorter ones to make it more track ideal

very nice bkes indeed , but they will never handle good enough for a lap time to worry a proper set up sports bike
and before any smart *** tells me to educate myself ,i spend a lot more time on customfighters than on here
i just pop on here when i want a laugh ,at some of the comments
Easy there fellas now for a fact I have built a few fighters out of crashed zx10, gsxr1000, and so on and can tell you for a fact that if done right they can turn one hell of a lap time with the right rider of course I am not suggesting that just anyone without proper training go out and try it, cause it can be very deadly for inexperienced riders!! now back to the question at hand yes i believe the rim i have will fit on a f2 you may need to change the spacers though but i do not think you will have a ny major problems
I have a sv650 that i set up for the track and can spank most 600 class fours but it is the riders confidence i have been on the track my whole life practically but the trick is the lighter the bike the more corner control you have!!
