Check the How-to section. There is a recent post on that very issue.
I just did the upgrade on a 98F3. The hard part is mounting it. Here's how mine
came out. The electrical was easy. Even used the F1 light for stand-down
warning light.

So it is a viable option. Hope this helps, Ern

I just answered this same question in teh F4 forum.. so here it is repasted:

Yes it can be used.. the electrical seems to be the easy part.. mounting options if you keep the F4 upper fairing means you have to make your own mounting setup...

I recently looked into the swap and I tried to centralize much of the info as I found it scattered all over the place.

the post is https://cbrforum.com/forum/cbr-600f4...thread-129237/

I ended up deciding not to do it since I wanted it to be 'plug and play' in case I wanted to swap back and the mounting I had in mind would not have made it cost effective for me... but they do look awesome..

Bought the F4i guages on e-bay, watch till I found them for $90.
Used the old housing to mount so it would blend into the fairings correctly.
