Default New paint job

My winter project for this year is a frame up rebuild of my 2000 f4 . Part of this is tearing off my scratched and bruised fairings . In a effort to save some cash I'm looking to paint them myself, I have a paint gun set and a 70 gal compressor , the only thing I'm missing is the knowledge needed to paint !!!
I peeled all the stickers off, sanded , and bonded all the scars . I just need some help with product selection and any tips people might have ???

There are a couple of fairly good How-To's here on the forum somewhere. Sounds like you've got a great start. Look forward to seeing your work.

my advice is to buy a good quality paint from a body shop supply store in your area they will be able to give you all the info you will need specific to the paint brand you go with. as for tips cleanliness is the most important thing as is gun control (keeping all your distance speed and overlaps consistant)
