jetting

RE: jetting
UPDATE: I finally got around to taking the carbs off the bike. The main jets were 98s. After looking up the Dynojet kit, it turns out that this is smaller main jet used with the stage 1 kit. The larger main jet was a 102. So I ordered some 102s, so hopefully I can get my performance back. The directions for the stage 1 kit are the same regardless what jet size, so swapping them out won't hurt anything. My top end is definitly lacking. The only jets he could order were 102.5s so I don't think the extra "half" is going to be noticable, maybe even more helpful.Does anyone think it would also be helpful to move the needle into the 4th position like the stage 2 kit but still run the stage 1 mainjet?Or would a higher main jet eliminate my popping when i let off thegas aroung 6500 rpms with leaving theneedlein the stage 1 position?
Also ordered a new CCT since the old was clicking real bad.

RE: jetting
the previous owner of the bike, installed the dynojet kit, so it came with an adjuster to move the needles. I'm not sure if I should leave the needles alone, or move them down to get rid of my lean popping around 6500 rpms. Or maybe the bigger main jets will take care of it. I jus't don't know if the main jet has any effect around 6500 rpms or when the bike decelerating.
