1998 was the last year of the F3 ... in 1999 the carbed F4 arrived with alloy frame and new engine, you could still get F3's that were registered late in 1999, you know, new old stock ...
In 2000 the F4i came out and having ridden both the F4i is a big improvement, some of the original F4s had a flat spot that was not present on the F3.

You really need to be more specific with your questions...
if you mean mine... I guess I didnt see that the topic was 3 months old, and then even older as you went deeper into it.
