im trying to go lighter myself so this could apply. take off your front body and replace it with an aftermarket front end. this eliminates the weight of your lights. and then im in the process of trying to eliminate the stock h.u.d and replace it with a small speedometer. it cleans the center up and eliminates the heavy bracket that holds the h.u.d in place. just remember to hold on to everything in case you want put it back on. its expensive.

whats the point of replacing the stock display with the one thing you never need on the track, a speedometer???????
the tach you use, the temp guage you use a lot, the gas guage can be very useful at the track especially if you ever do any endurance racing, the Diagnostic (FI) indicators, the clock, and even the neutral light can be useful

you can buy an aftermarket fairing stay to replace the "heavy bracket"
