I built a system for a Busa and it was a pain. And there are kits for Busa's all over the place. Building one for a 600 is gonna be extremely difficult. Your best bet is to find a kit that puts out 4-6# of boost. This would still keep your engine reliable and would have the turbo, plenum, and blowoff valve. Try searching the net -- maybe even e-bay. I know Mr. Turbo has a lot of systems -- I didn't like them for the busa (I wanted mondo power, arrrrrrrh arrrrrrrrh arrrrrrrrh) but I seem to remember they had some kits for smaller bikes.

That turbo looks like they put a stock TD05 Turbo from a G54B engine on a bike. Seriously that looks almost exactly the same as a mitsubishi turbo.

Oh and by the way. Im FLAMIN this thread right now!!!!!

if youre going to turbo your 600, youll have to find a small turbo, or else it will take a long time to spool up. the high compression that these bikes come with from the factory is not going to agree with boost (5-7 psi max) unless you lower the compression (new stronger crank, pistions, rods, etc). if you dont, detonation will destroy your motor, and youll just be rebuilding it again. if you dont lower the compression, you might be able to get by and not detonate if you run race gas. the cooling system as others have said will need an upgrade too, because you wont have room for an intercooler.

Next thread by maxwell139: Turbo, NOS and a jet engine on a 600

"I installed the turbo on my bike and I still can't kill the 600's in my neighborhood, so now I'm installing NOS and a jet engine...does any one know how to do this?"

Jut kidding, have fun and let us know how this turbo quest goes
