my bike spools around 7-8000. typically with higher compression engines you dont get a lot of turbo lag on a conventional engine. where sportbike engines are designed to operate at high rpms, it still has a little lag at the lower half of the rpm range. the cams have a lot of overlap, intake and exhaust ports are massive compared to the engine size(compare a stock 5.0 ford exhaust port to a cbr). the compression the engine actually traps at lower rpms is very low, therefore will not produce enough exhaust pressure to spool the turbo until the the VE comes up. also if you wanted low and midrange power you would need a small turbo which would severely hinder top end flow. my bike pull just a tad less down low than it did n/a but it starts making good power at about 8-9000. even if it spools at 8000 you still have 6000 useable rpms. some cars cans even rev to 6000 so you can actually use more than they can. it is just impossible to find a turbo that will operate efficiently on any engine with a 14,000 redline through the whole power band. i think my turbo is a happy medium for quick(enough) spool and top end power.

In almost 6 months you haven't learned anything?
Like the difference between an exhaust and a turbo manifold?!
Good luck with your project, lol.

Sounds like you want everyone to do everything for you. There have been many posts, w/o flaming, that tell you to go here or there or try this or that or check this out. How much more info do you need? Sounds as if we need to ride the bike for you, buy the kit, put it on, and then tell you about it. After 6 months or more of posts, either you haven't learned how to hit search on google, you are the most indecisive person in the world, or you have just started the longest joke in forum history. Go buy the kit you want and have it installed already!
