Tank Protector removal

Default Tank Protector removal

does any one know how to remove a tank pad and how to re apply it. It looks like s*** and cant stand looking at it. Thanks

WD-40 will get it off, BUT you won't be able to reuse it.......AND you will have to put a good coat of WAX in that area you used WD-40...

With the wd-40, maybe a hair dryer for a little warmth, or out in the sun...but I wouldn't use a heat gun on the tank. When I replace mine, I am going to try the clear bra stuff I have on the fron of my car. I thinlk mine is invictasheild, but 3M makes some stuff too.

ive never thought about this before, that might be a great idea, but the hard part would be to wrap it around the sharp contours of the tank
