Can anyone tell me if the tail section ofan 05'cbr 600rr will fit on my 05' f4i without any modification? I would think that they share the same frame and there would be no problem but i would like some confirmation before buying one to do it.

 

check for parts and accessories for both models...see the shape of the items.May b they both same.

No its not a direct swap modifcations will be needed. I think someone on this site has it though. Have you thought about a 01-03 f4i tail swap?

 

Definetely not a bolt on deal. I did it on my F4 using the later model F4i subframe only because I wanted to do all the welding without any down time on the bike. I have pics up in the F4 section just after I did it, before i made the filler panels for the seat.
