WOW!!!! You know this because you've seen other people with aftermarket exhausts huh. How do you know what has been done. There is a difference between removing a baffle and slapping on a car exhaust tip. Good luck with whatever, but I agree with X. ITs a pretty idiotic way to ruin a bike.

Is it a problem that my bike does 173mph? I weigh 210 so I'm not as small as you other guys... And I am a tooth down in the front sprocket... Perhaps my speedo is off? But that is what it reads... Go ride someone else's ***.. I'll have pics and a link to a video up soon...

So are you one of those guys on these forum websites who is tryin to show off the size of his E-*****??? I mean really... My stuff sounds great according to the 20+ guys that I rode with last night... And I pulled away from a stock '07 like mine (but blue)....Like I said, I'll have pics up soon followed by a link to a vidoe with a sound clip...

Your speedo is probably off atleast 25 mph....... And it isnt an e-***** with most of us. Some of us do know a little about what we are talking about. But if you dont want to listen thats fine, but you can ask anyone who know anything about bikes, thats not something that is going to help your bike. You can probably start expecting to burn plugs and start fouling you mechanics out. But if you are happy with it, more power to you, no one is telling you want to do, just trying to save you, thats all.

 

This thread gets my vote for *tool of the day* for 1BadCBR07, if for mothing else for his reaction to the people that gave their opinions on an open internet forum.

I hope your neighbors kick your butt repeatedly for being a horrible person to live near.

 

Exactly where are you topping out your bike at the claimed 173mph? by the statement that youve gained more top end, means that you have done it atleast 2 times, probably more. Something tells me its not on a track, so you must be running that speed on public roads? keep that up, and we wont be able to flameyou anymore. but, Im sure you know as much about safety for yourself, and safety of others on the road as you know about engine tuning. And Im sure you could explain your way out of jail time also, even it is for manslaughter with a motor vehicle.

Besides, the size of my E ***** is just fine, according to the 20+ e whoresI with last night. just like your 20+ friendssaid your bike sounds great. as they turned and laughed their asses off as they walked away from you.

 

no its not a problem that your bike is capable of a claimed "173 mph" , its the fact that you would attempt to get your bike up to those speeds (more then likely on public roads)

with your bike being -1 up front that will take away from your top end and affect your speedo. giving you an inaccurate reading. you will need a gps unit or speedo helaer to gather an accurate speed.

please do post pics up. hey you have a video even better !.... what about DYNO results, Track slips something other then SOP feeling and your 20 buddies reactions to prove that your "mod" was an effective course of action
