sprockets
I just bought a 2001 f4i and im having trouble getting the front end to come up. I need a new chain and sprockets so i figure i might as well change the ratio while im at it. My question is this, what is a good ration on these bikes for doin wheelies? I dont want to go to the exrteme and stand it up doing 10mph but i would like a little morepick up.Has anyone else had a problem with standing these things up?Is one tooth down in the front enough? Any sugestions would help. Thanks

RE: sprockets
PRACTICE....PRACTICE....PRACTICE
My F4i only has a full exhaust and K&N filter, and I can get it up no problem. There are 2 ways
1. Roll on in the power band (8K - 10K) or
2. Low speed dump....get the rpms to about 4 then dump the throttle closed when you feel it about to come back up (recoil) poor on the juice and you'll feel the front end get light and start coming up.
At first I didnt think method 2 would work, but then I tried it. If you are determined to get sprockets...-1 on the front sprocket and +2 on the rear sprocket. Changing this ratio changes the speedo, so either deal with it or geta speedo healer. My $0.02. Good luck and were your gear if you're gonna stunt.
