I'm trying to figure out a way to mount my speedometer to my 88 cane. upper stay bracket is gone and there is a round headlight on now. i chopped the speedo down so all you have is the speedo and tach. no oil gauge or turn signal indicators etc. Thought of using fork brackets for headlights, but i'm just not satisfied. Short of buying a trail tech, I'm out of ideas. If you've replaced your speedo with something other than trail tech post some pics or ideas!

 

i hate to be the guy but this is the wrong section for this thread. If you (or mod) moves this to the older 600's section im sure there is someone there that can help you out. i myself have never dealt with a 'cane. good luck!
