Default Rear stand spools

has anyone every put rear stand spools on their F4i? i have an 02 and i dont really want to weld them on because i dont want to repaint the swing arm but i was wondering if anyone has ever put the drill and tap ones on their bike? if so how are they? are they sturdy? can i leave my bike on them all winter long so i dont flat spot my tires?

thanks

yes you can tap it...but i'd rather weld instead.
if you just want to use it for winter storage, then just get the spool inserts that go into the rear axle.

i wouldn't want to tap as it takes away from the integrity of the swinger...by how much, don't know, but your swinger definitely won't be stronger than before.

also if you're running the stock pipe or even some aftermarket standard mount pipe, the pipe may hit the tapped spool inserts at compression. the stock pipe definitely will, but aftermarket may or may not.
