Default one tooth down on front sprocket

for those guys have/had 15front / stock rear ... how do u liked the setup ? i just recived did 525chain ( x-ring) and i was gona go with stock gearing since i do commuting rides .. but if i could get lilttle more power just by doing 15 front without the chain's/sprocket's life..i would do it for sure...just wanted to get little more information from u guys .. and im sure it will last longer than 520 conversion... but is there down side to doing one front down ?

I went one down in the front and love the "get-up"... I would recommend this simple/inexpensive modification to anyone!

with one down .. can u power up on 2nd ? from your mod experiance...what do u think about chain's life ? since there is more binding on front due to smaller sprocket ..

Well I'll let you know how my chain holds up since the bike is so new in the first place... And yes, I can power up in 2nd with the proper "technique" if you will.. 3rd can even get a little squemish....
