Another idea is to add three strips. One bottom and one of the left and right side. OR if you want a professional look you can use the same method for led passenger pegs. Find an led strip with bulbs and then you can drill holes on the left and right underside for them to fit in. I think that would look clean.

thought about that but how long do you think the stick on strips would last before the stickiness wore off? Also the ones at autozone aren't very bright, know where to get any?

When i was looking at doing LEDs on my bike i looked at this site alot. nothing but good reviews from what ive read. They have LED light bars with turn signals in them and all you do is screw it into your fairing and wire it in. Here is the link.

i like those, but not sure where i'd mount them, they're to wide to go in the spot you indicated, and i feel like if you put them on the underside of the fender they'd just be pointing at the ground and wouldn't be as bright

You could modify a bracket that will allow it to hang down a bit. Almost like a plate bracket but then just put lights on it. That would work pretty good.

so here's my plan.

i found some led bulbs that fit in the housing i already have, they're supposed to be way brighter. i'm going to make those strictly the running light and brake light.

i will then do the diy passenger peg blinkers to cover the blinkers. hopefully once i get both those things done i won't feel so uneasy when i slow down to turn. lol

i'll keep this updated when the bulbs come in.

FWIW, I think the LED idea on the underside of the tail cowl is a good idea. It would mimic how Suzuki SV's look. Their LEDs are at basically the same angle as what you could do. Anyway, just food for thought. Hope whatever you do works well. Good luck.

ok, the bulbs i got weren't any brighter then what i already had, so i am returning them and am back to square one.

i'm ordering the leds to do the diy peg blinkers today.
