Nik.. well I experimented with using the factory latch and rear mount, by making some quick parts and glassing them to the underside of the solo seat.. it worked well, and is strong enough that I didnt cut them off and make them nicer looking. It is really ugly underneath, as the pic will attest to... but like I said, it worked perfect right off the bat, so I kept it the way I mocked it up. If I do another, it will be much nicer

 

Try to paintthe undersidewith latex( house plastic paint-any color you like) it will make it look much smoother -Tip: mask the outer edges so you don't screw the paintjob.

Here is a picof the race fairing I'm building,next in programme is the belly and then tail and tank. Within this month I should have ready and painted the whole bodykit.
Any colours to suggest? I haven't decided yet, how's white pearl?

im not really into the aftermarket ones i've seen. the one's you made look so much more "sporty"!

 

It would have been possible if I had the fairings from an F4, but I don't. Not to mention the price [8D]....
