How do you go about painting the lower grey fender on a 2003 600rr. I know that I can just change it the black fenders from an 05, but I want to make the bottom fender look like fiberglass. Should I use spray paint, or should I match the paint of the bike and brush it on? I am a amature at this stuff. Just hopeing to get some ideas.

 

I did mine with a spray can of black laquer I got a lowe's. Many autopaint stores will make custom cans for you if you want to have the paint matched exatcly. In order to paint the lowers be sure to sand them down, take your time and make it perfect before you paint. Paint in thin even coats (3 or 4 thin coats is WAY BETTER than 1 or 2 thick coats). Mine didn't turn out as good as I would have hoped, but I'm getting the bike repainted next winter anyway so this will work till I get it done. Good luck!
