Default Power Commander Stock 06 CBR

Has anyone put a power commander on just a stock bike? I saw that a map is out there for the stock bike. I was thinking of putting one on. I am going to add exhaust and a K&N in a few months, but just wondering if anyone else has done this?

Thanks!

I put one on my 02 F4i
Really smoothed out the throttle.
Feels like a dramatic change from stock to me.

IN MY OPINION.

Is the power commander difficult to install, or is something we can do in our garage ?

It is also for a 2006.

Thanks in advance

Not its really simple to install. If you order it straight from powercommander.com then they will put a custom map in it for you so the bike will run the best for your own setup.

Basically you just disconnect a plug and hook both the sides into the power commander plugs as they fit. Then you connect the ground to your battery.

After that "if you got the PCIII USB" you can load the cd in your laptop and mess with whatever you want to.

I just chose the stock version and loaded it into the bike.

Its really easy to do.

Have fun getting to the TPS (throttle position switch). It's tucked away between the frame and the engine on the left side by the fuses [:@]

Let me know if you run into problems... I just did mine two days ago. Simple to do, but a little time consuming. I also put the PC III on the right side (in our trunk) because on the left side, you'll have to remove it from the Velcro and pull it out to use the buttons on it. The cable still runs down the right side fine. The instructions that come with it are good.
