Default hid question

On my 04 f4i I recently installed a xtralights hid kit. Everything was a breeze to install and it looks like it was a good fit. The light output is great and the aim is good, but the light seems to shake when I go over bumps. The light is definately in all the way, and feels to be just as tight as the factroy light. Has anyone encoutered this problem? What could I do that will not be permanant, but will keep the light from fluctuating without damaging the headlight housing?
Thanks Rob

I had to shim the light, mine was not tight, check to see if the 'clip' is actually pressing and imobilizing as it was with the stock bulb. I forget what I used to secure it, but it was some kind of scap plastic that I modded with a file.

Default RE: hid question

Yeah that is what I did basically made a plastic shim. Because there was a gap and it would have melted the housing, and the hid seems to be as tight as the highbeam. I am not sure what I am going to do with it. I have thought about using some teflon tape to take up some more of the gap, although it is not moving enough to blind other drivers, so I may just leave it alone.
