I use Michelin on streetbike and my trackbike, love 'em. I'm a contract rider with Michelin, so I will have good things to say about them LOL. You will get many recommendations, everybody loves this tire or that.

For your situation, I would use the Pilot Road. If you think you might ever do twisty roads or the track as a beginner, Pilot Road 2. You should get 7K+ easily, probably much more.

 

I just ordered the Pilot Power 2CT's for mine today. I'm going to get them installed this week and I'll let you know how I like them compared to the factory Dunlops.

I installed my rear tire for it yesterday. Wow. I love it. Way better than the factory Dunlop tire. It feels way more stable under hard cornering even at high speeds. And it's as smooth as glass. I'm doing the front one today. I'll keep you updated.
