Default Help with frame sliders!!!!

So i decided to install frame sliders..

I've ran into a HUGE problem..

i've got the right side finished holes cut and everything..

now i've ran into a problem on the left side..

i was putting the bolt in to mark the fairing to cut it on that side.. when i started to back the bolt out it crossthreaded...

now its stuck in there and i dont want to take it out in fear of striping the frame or the bolt..

so what the hell do i do now?

how is that even possible? didn't you end up with a nut that went to nothing then??

did you loctite (spelling?) it ?? if not, should be pretty easy swap....ouch...forgot about the jacked up bolt

think you should be ok since have the pinch nut on the right side even without the nut....and if tightened to specs, with loctite....no way should even come close to loosening up

I just picked up a 2" hole saw so should have mine done tonight also...will post picks later

I dont think you are able to do that because the part of the frame slider that touches the frame will slip into the hole a little bit and the holes are a different size.

Ide switch those man because the frame slider probably wont work like its supposed to if or when you dump the bike.
