It isnt really about the overall gain in horsepower, it is the gain throughout the powerband, the throttle responce, weight lose ect. Easy on the liter bikes though. I love my 954 and i keep up with my buddies cbr600rr and gsxr600 in the curves any day . But i still have to give it up for the 600s, they are kicka$$ fun, its great to stay full throttle in the curves and more flickable than 1000s

have fun and ride. that's the whole point of buying a bike in the first place. after-market accessories wheather for show, or go doesn't matter. in the end, it's all part of personalization, and to look just a bit different than factory, and a bit different than the next bike. wheather an old mans harley, or a young mans rocket, from the moment we ride, we are free from all else. different from everyone else, and we have fun doing it.........

Not to pick at old wounds but i must say i salute you sir. i wasn't a marine but i know that MOS ( i was lazy and chose the army lol) and i gotta say it takes a pair to put it all on the line and go recon. thank you not necessary lol
