Aright guys, so my uni team is building a race car for formula student, basically where each uni competes against each other to make a fast light weight car completely designed at uni and build it, and race.

For our car we're using a CBR 600 RR 07/08. We're also running the car on injection with a DTA s60 ECU.

Basically we re-wired the engine to the diagram for the ECU, but there is a few things causing havoc that i'm not sure about since i'm no bike nut.

The ECT sensor is in normal position and plug, we have run our temp sensor signal wire from ECU to the ECT (which is blue yellow on ECT plug), ground from the ECT plug (grey black) and I have a grey red, is this 12v supply? We also can't get the thing to spark, motor turns and injectors are primed and probably spraying but no spark. Could be many things but it's being a right pain being the only one done and very few people know anything about it. I have no one local to help me just myself, and the internet. I've done basic car wiring in the past etc.

Any help about the ECT would be greatly appreciated.
