Comp Werkes FE / Watsen Design 2nd generation on an 06 600rr here

as said above, I wouldn't change anything, except maybe the price..... Rizoma signals are hella bright and slick looking too

unicron,
How did the install of the GSXR mirror/signals go?
That looks like a great way to deal with the "how do I get rid of the crappy looking factory turn signal" problem.

dondi,

GSXR mirror install went well.
The only change to the fairing was the holes for the signal wires.
Most of the time was spent modifying the stay. There are a couple pictures of the stay in my gallery:

Thanks!
So do I understand you're running both the flushmounts and the turn signal lights up front?
If so is one set up for running light and the other for turn signals or both turn or ???

How bright are those Protons and the ones included with the FE during the day?

The protos are very bright. Prolly can land a jumbo jet with them.
Lots of good reviews from other forum members.

The tail lights seem to be bright enough.

If you want to keep the running light functionality; Watsen Design has a module they add to their flushmounts that runs the LEDs at half power for theruning light, and then brings them up to full intensity for the signal light.

they sell the module by itself but they don't advertise that. you need to call them and ask them.

I did that because I wanted the Rizomas with Running light functionality, but If you want Flushmounts, theirs are some of the best out there. (Made of aluminum instead of plastic, 3 different designs; 3, 8 , or 10 LED to choose from, the afore mentioned running light module, and they make them model specific, for a perfect fit, as oposed to the "close enough" universal fit ones)

For the tail, your best bet is the integrated taillight and any tag mount that includes a light.

If you're keeping the stock pipe, look for Blue Fox's "racoon tail" mod on the How to forum for one of the best ways to dress up the tail.

Protons are the only way to go - running lights with built in resistors to slow the blinking rate tonormal. I believe the Watsens are also running lights but you need to install the resistors seperate (not that big of a deal). I've got the Protons and am 100% satisfied.
