F2 SLAMMED! Kickstand advice?
Got the F2 down and dirty! Looks and rides SWEET! As such, the kickstand doesn't hold the bike at a comfortable angle anymore...What have any of you done to your lowered CBR's stands? I was thinking of heating up the very bottom of the stand and bending it out a bit in order to keep the "foot" of the stand, as opposed to just cutting it and have a "pointy" kickstand.
Thanks in advance,
RB

RE: F2 SLAMMED! Kickstand advice?
i'm was lowered 3" andi cut a 1" section out of my kickstand in the middle then welded it back together so i still had the foot and not a "pointy" kickstand. but now i am 1 1/2" drop in the rear because it screwed my forks, subframe and undertail up..with just city driving..
the only thing that sucks is when you bang the fork seals after a week and they blow out and the rear tire rubs on the subframe and you have to raise it back up you have to fabricate a whole new kickstand.. trust me i had my suspension as hard as i could get it and i still rubbed the subframe in corners and on bumps... also my headers rubbed when pulling out of driveways... just a word of advise..
