How much wider is a 1000 compared to a 600 generally? Thats overall width. I know the cylinders would have to be at least 32mm wider over all 4 because of the bore difference, but I'm wondering in terms of overall width.

 

not much. i hope you're not thinking of retro fitting a 1000RR motor into the 600RR chassis...

 

haha, nope, not at all. a friend is putting a bike engine in a car is all, and i'm designing it for him, just wanted to know if its a lot wider or anything
