Question don't want to waste $$$

I have an 05...stock 05 and right now it sounds like a sewing machine. I was thinking about a jardine rt1 and jardine headers. I really dont want to waste money or lack there of. Anyone have one or this package that has any helpful opinions???

Regardless of brand, make sure you def go with the full system. Slip-ons are a huge waste of $$$.

+1 ^ , all u get is sound, i mean if thats all u want then cool but for a couple more hundred you get a night and day response, specially with a power commander and filter.

Absolutly. If you can afford a slip-on, sit on the cash for a couple more months, and save the little bit extra it takes to get the full. Paying all that money for a sound difference and an unnoticable HP boost is just plain illogical. I don't understand why slip-on's are even produced.

same reason why they put out aftermarket mufflers for cars n trucks. The factory exhaust looks like shyt, weigh a ton, and in most cases sound like a vintage VW.

Now I dont argue a full system is nice n nets more hp gains, but slip ons help too. They may not net #'s on a dyno most would like too see, but they look better, sound better, and weigh alot less. And with every 7lbs you shed off is like gaining 1hp. And for something that doesnt weigh 400lb as it is, you can actually feel it when it counts, tho most of us wouldnt know the difference just riding the streets.
