I think a lot of you guys saw my last thread <07 with 08 red lowers>. I'm a fan of Carbon Fiber if it's got a nice balance. When I bought my bike...I got it because itwas pull me over, get the hot chick, I'm faster than you red. Carbon just adds that cool touch. An all carbon bike is pretty amazing..BUT....not for me [sm=smiley24.gif]

RSP-- I live in Rockwall and saw that same bike at the dealership here. I thought it was actually pretty ridiculous looking and would becomparable to walkingthrough the most dangerous part of town wearing a hugegold necklace and Rolex. These bikes have a racing pedigree andto have all of that CF and a stock exhaust. Totally nonsensical.

I agree 100%. I also feel having passenger pegs and seat on a bike with a racing pedigree is "totally nonsensical."

Not my cup of tea. Some Carbon fiber, yes. All carbon fiber, not so much.

I wonder what a bike with ALL brushed aluminum fairings would look like??? I know it would be heavy and pointless, but I think that would look sick.

You can go to OPP Racing and pruchase Carbon Fiber, Carbon Kevlar, or Titanium Silver bodywork for your CBR.

Carbon fiber looks ghetto when you do it for 'bling's sake.Especially like this, on an otherwise stock bike. When I see CF levers, tank pads and fenders, real or fake, it makes me puke a little inside...what a waste of money.
