Default 6spot brakes on F4i

just wondering if you guys have heard of '02 gsxr1000 6spot brake conversion on an F4i.

i had a set laying round off of a firestorm/superhawk i had , and thought that i would see if they fit onto my F4i street fighter i am building... turns out that they bolt straight on, and there is the required clearances on the pads and the disc... the only thing that is not long enough on the F4i is the brake lines, which i have a set of goodridge lines comming, which should fix the prob... will post a pic of the caliper dummied on... just thought that you would be interested.

the gold calipers in the pic are off a SP-2... they are exactly the same caliper, only gold... peace

used goodgidge... they are just long enough.... though it was touch an go... went to a mechanic and lifted the bike off the ground from the tripple clamp... there was still flex in the line, with the forks fully extended... so went and bought some hydraulic line 'P' clamps, and tiedied the lot up.... worked out well...peace

because i refuse to pay honda australia $700 a side for plastics!!!.. i bought the bike as a fixer upper, had been low sided a number of times, but verything else was fine... got the belly pan of ebay for bugger all, and cut the side panels to match the black decal on the tank.. i think it looks good, will be better after a paint... thanks for the interest..peace
