Default 600rr moded or gsxr 750

I have the option of purchasing a new bike with the erion slip on, tank proctor, tank cap proector, chrome wind shield, and i think a fender eleminator but no sure for about $1000 more than a stock bike.
$1000 sounds alot to me. $9200 total for the modified 07 600rr.
For that kind of money I could buy a gsxr 750 and have 30 more horsepower and a bike the weights the same.

I have read these threads and a modified 600rr will not pull as hard as a stock gsxr750 unless invest some huge dollar then might as well get a 1000rr.
So somebody tell me why you would or did purchased a honda 600 knowing the 750 has 25 to 30 more hp and weights close to the same? More hp means more fun to me.

my reason for gettin the 750 over ne 600 was my weight....

i'm about 220 and on the track on the straights a person thats 150-180lbs can almost keep up. so i needed that lil bit more power to deal with speeds in 4th and 5th gear. and yet u can get an awesome drive outa corners i can usually make up time on people on 1ks mid corner and exiting the turn so i think its a great track bike for me...thats what i have...

and for the street a cbr 1k. that once i get good at throttle control will go to the track as well.

No track just street ridng.. Being active duty military I don't plan on racing on a track or steet ha! I weigh 180lbs wet!
750s are more popular here but, I like hondas.

There is NO replacement for displacement -- if you are all about HP and speed.

I went from a 600 to a 1000 last year, and yeah, the power is nice and fun, but I really don't get the chance to open it up and enjoy it anyhow. It just makes for less shifting when putting around town and commuting.

All a complete waste of money as most of the nonsense people do to their bikes and cars. People need jewelery, not machines.

Get the 750 if you need power (or think you do), it isn't a Honda, but Honda chooses to not play in that sandbox so F*** them.

Some of you guys list alot of mods. And the after market exhuasts I can hear a difference but do they really produce more hp and have dyno charts from
company that is not a rep?
Thanks for your inputs
