i have a 2003 600rr and wanted to know if anyone knew the wire colors are? i know that i can just take a test light and DMM and find all the wires that i need but if any one knows where they are or have any tips to help it would be appreciated thanks..

 

um, the 600rr never came with an alarm of any sort...

 

ok there are no crotch rockets that come with a factory alarm thats obvious... i however have to install a viper 3202 alarm on a 600rr and wanted to know the wire colors on the bike itself. such as the starter wire, constant 12volts, switched ignition, lights, and all the other wires that are needed for the install. i work at best buy as a install tech soits not like i have to have the wire colors todo itjust wondering if someone had them to make my install just a little easier. thanks

 

if you don't have vehicle specific install instructions, you BestBuy Custom Install Techs are hopelessly lost...

find a Honda Technical Service Manual on Amazon.

 

no.... see that you have all wrong the install techs are all about making the job as easy and as smooth as possible, and if using a service manual makes you "lost" then most every home mechanic out there has been "lost" at one point or another

 

i just installed a scorpio alarm on my bike the other day. for honda the wires are.... ground=green wire, tail light=brown wire, left turn=orange wire, right turn=blue wire. thats what it said in the install guide that came with my alarm. apparently the guy that had my bike before me did some changing but it was close to the same. i hope this helps you. i had to take the tail fairing off to get at a good wire to tap into but it wasn't too hard. good luck
