600 F3 handle bar mod
Hi all i have a 600 f3 track bike, ive done 1 track day on it this year & it seemed ok but i found the riding position to be very upright & i felt like i couldnt get enough weight over the front end to corner like i know i can. ive seen other track bike f3s for sale & noticed some that had handle bars mounted under the top yoke to lower them, so thought i would try it.
the bike now looks more of a track machine but when the bars are turned the levers hit the clocks! Im going to mod the clock suround to cure that problem. has anyone on here fitted bars under the yoke? & how did the bike feel? thanks all

I used to slide the forks up higher in the triple clamps to quickly lower the front end.
You will feel more wait on your hands and the bike will steer quicker.
have you raised your foot pegs?
You can modify the steering stops on the frame to limit the lock to lock of the handle bars.
