Default +1 on Heli-bars

I really like the 600RR and could live with the riding position if I had to, but I decided to try and make it an all around street bike. One of the mods in this direction was the addition of heli-bars. All I can say is that I cannot believe the difference that 1" back and 1.5" up makes. Before the heli-bars, I had to use my stomach, leg and back muscles to maintain a proper posture that would not cause my wrists to ache. That is fine, but after an hour or so, I would start to get a little lazy, and that would make an uncomfortable ride. With the heli-bars I don't have to hold my position at all and there's still no pressure on my wrists, even after lounging on the bike for a couple of hours. YOu do sit up higher in the windstream, so I may be opting for the ZG sport touring screen. I think with the bigger screen and all of my soft luggage, I could go long distance with this wonderful machine.

I just did helibar/zg sport touring screen thing on my '06 f4i. Factoring in the old style banana seat, this bike is perfect for me (5'9" 155#). The st screen is blessedly free of buffeting and turbulance while being much more protective. I can sure recommend tryinf one on your 600RR.
