Ive got an 09 600rr.

1. If I'm rolling down the road at about 5k rpm and I goose the throttle it seems like is struggles to get going until it hits around 6 - 7k. Is this just normal because its made to be ran wide open?

2. The EGCV. What is this things purpose? What would happen if I just took the valve out?

3. What is a HASS eliminator? I cant seem to find one or much info on it.

Yes this is very normal. These 600 just don't make any power until the higher RPM's. I think there was a thread here not too long ago where someone had their 09 dynoed and even at 7K it only put out 57 HP but it increases rapidly form there.

I believe that this is help the power during the lower RPM range but I don't think it really helps. Yes you can remove it but then your going to throw a FI light because the ECU wants it there. Not sure what you mean. I don't think our bike have a HASS

 

Thanks for the reply! On the Hass eliminator, I have read where people said they put them on their cbr and said that is gives them crazy power and that its well worth the 150 bucks. so i dunno
