Default 08 600 RR - Mod 002-003 : Frame Sliders and Swingarm Spools

Hey all, I installed my swingarm spools and cut sliders today, they look great.
I used OES Delrin Radius Sliders and spools. The service was great and I recieved them in 3 days.
I also bought the tool to mark the inside of the fairing, it worked well enough but not entirely as intended. The threads were not machined properly so they would not start screw in when I turned them. So I just stuck them in place to get the mark to the center of the engine mount.

The installation on the spools couldn't have been easier, just screw them on.

Next I tackled removing the lower fairing and drilling the semi circle cuts with 1-3/4 inch hole saw. It wasnt too bad but be careful, use the slowest speed. I finished the edge with a fine curved file then sandpaper and finally a cloth with wax. It wasnt too bad but be careful I had the one side chip a little but i just filed it smooth. The worst part was figuring out the clip holding the two lower fairings together in front. I wound up using a flashlight to see in and a tiny flat-head screwdriver to pop the tab.

I had a fun time and my 2 1/2 year old son Ethan helped and had a blast too.
