How loud do they sound with the RS-5s? My friend just put on some yoshi's on his gsxr and they are not loud at all. Its just a liittle better sounding than stock but no where near the sound of the Jardine. I want to know if I should just get the Jardine or stick with the yoshi. I think I will switch since I have the chance. Is there a pipe that is not quite as loud as the Jardines, just a little quieter and I mean just a little.

I have the full rs-5 yosh cut down a bit.. It's super load, and I felt a power increase once it was on.

I was able to find someone with the RS-5 yoshis on their cbr1k at the dealership. It sounds good better than stock, smooth sounding. But not as deep as the RT-1 jardines. I know that when you rev up they all get louder but the RT carry that deep resonance all the way to the higher rpms. I'm switching to the RT-1 duals outlets. Now the question is titanium or carbon.

I bought the Yosh. Everything Jardine that I've ever heard is obnoxiously loud for me.

Hmmmm, that's surprising to me that the Jardines are considered loud.
Even though my bike is different, mine is pretty quiet until I really get on it probably 'cause I use the street baffle instead of race baffle.
Does the RT-1 for the 1kRR only come 1 way or can you get street or race baffle like mine?

There's streetand race baffle, all carbonortitanium with carbon tip. I have the race baffle all carbon RT-1 and that shiat is LOUD! Supossedly, the titanium is louder than the carbon? Damn, if that were true, then I think i'd go deaf cause when I ride, it feels like I have a sound system in my helmet.

Got them put on.....It sounds awesome. Not as loud as I thought they would be intraffic but you definitely notice. Doesn't bother me at all riding. Just a slight increase in vibration. Friend told me that they could hear me now when I pass by or am close to them. I'm glad I switched. Got the all carbon and it looks sweet.

slip ons are not meant to give huge power gains so forget about that. it's all about looks and sound for slip ons, i have the rs5 and love the look and the sound. personally i think the jardine pipe is ugly. just my 2 cents
