Default Undertail Problem

I installed a Hotbodies Undertail Kit on my '07 10rr. I posted a thread about wondering if the Jardine Dual Outlets would fit with that undertail kit and another member told me that I could not put an aftermarket pipe on with an undertail. so now i need some help in what to do. i should of looked into all of this before i went out and started buying parts. do i need a fender elimination kit? if so what kind will fit the jardine? also what do i do about the license plate light and the turn signals, all of those are built into the undertail right now. any info would help me out, i'm stressing out big time right now. either reply on here or email me at alltat2oodup@yahoo.com. thanks alot.

Hotbodies has a sick looking exhaust under tail system, for about $800 a little more than what you will spend on the (fat *** looking) undertail and aftermarket exhaust. I have been debating getting this system for my 06' as well, plus it will have all the lighting you need, and plate brackets. you just may spend a little more $$$ but it is a clean look.

My Jardine's didn't melt anything. The 1 or 2 hp you might miss are made up with great looks and sound plus a good price. I am looking forward to putting my bike on a dyno to see what it puts out!!

as far as the hotbodies i have actually only seen two in person (r1,1krr) nothing was melted, and owners were very happy, their passengers didn't even complain, you just have to make sure you use the heat shield padding they give you, dont "hack" the install.

First of all most "slip-ons" are gonna addhardly anypower. maybe a horse or 2, but lets be honest with ourselves everyone does it for the sound, or look. IF your trying tomake power, you need to do alot more than just a slip on.

No better sound than hitting the power band with a good aftermarket pipe.

well thanks for the advice. still not sure what i'm gonna do. i like the looks of the jardines but i heard the hotbodies is loud as hell with a great tone. just kinda pissed that i paid a couple hundred bucks for an undertail kit and now have to scrap it. i had an f4i previously so i'm new to the undertail exhaust setup. i'm probably gonna go with the hotbodies for the fact that i have the holes drilled already and my tail section is going to look like crap with a fender elim. kit and two holes on the bottom. thanks again

I have a hot bodies undertail and a 2 Brothers Exhaust. Granted since it's winter here I havent had much of a chance to ride it but there looks to be plenty of clearance around the pipe. I can snap some pics if you want to see the space.
