Under Tail Lighting

Default Under Tail Lighting

To cheap to go out and buy a undertail light kit. Could i just cut and cap the wires to the rear blinkers reroute the license plate light

the rear blinkers have plugs about 6" back in the undertail, just unplug them.You may way to put a peice of tape around the end for moisture reasons but they should be fine.Your fronts will blink really fast, and it may even be possible it changes the resistance so much they dont work at all, I never tried unplugging them both. Competition werkes has a nice light setup with their LTD undertail kitssee if they sell it separate. Sinch to install.

Worked out perfect did the work this weekend. Mounted the license plate and light clean lock for nothing 30 minutes work.

Work smarter not harder

exactly.. these undertail kits are usually overpriced and you can usually do something custom for about 10-20 bucks

God I wish I would have heeded that advice the first time I took my CBR apart. After all the **** I installed, putting the damn bike back together was the most challenging "mod" I did.

yeah thats why i tell people because when i did my exhaust, ihadn't learned that lesson yet.
