I was wondering about the Proton Fronts and a Clear Alternatives rear: Question being, the Proton fronts have something internally (from what I read) that eliminates the use of resistors, is that still true with the Clear Alt rear (mine has a fairly quick blink rate/not sure about resistors being installed)?

as far as the running light
protons allow you to keep the running light or you wire diodes inline on both the turn signal wire and the running light wire and you get both signals and running lights on standard signals

you can also get a VFX flasher relay
go to www.hooliganbiketech.net and check out the motek signal install. it has a section on the relay as well as keeping the running lights

The resistors for the ClearAlternatives tail light are large. You will have a clean and easy install if you don't use resistors.
