Default seat cowl

Ok, Pretty sure this has been discussed bout couldn't find anything on it. So, can a 600 solo cowl fit a 1000 of the same year? say, 06? I like the "hump" instead of the vents that the 1000 cowl has. Now, hmmm, cowl or clutch? hmmmm, if I go practice launching I'll have to buy the new clutch and then maby still get the cowl.... hehehehehe

From what I understand, the seat cowls are interchangable. There are some links here that have some different styles that apparently will all fit the 1000RR. https://cbrforum.com/m_254984/tm.htm

I'm kinda partial to the Honda cowl, but the shark fin ones are pretty sweet too.

yep...the 600 fits great and looks great.....especially if you have black.....the red is about ahalf-shade off....the difference between winning red(1000rr) and italian red(600rr).....im gonna have it painted this winter to match exact.....you got to play with the screws and washers to get teh gap right and so it doesnt rub the rear cowl....

crap....was gonna upload some pics but i just moved and my external drive is still in a box somewhere..lol

better yet...i found my old post when i bought it......hope this link works
