Default Is it safe?

Just hooked my HRC Honda brake reservoir kit for the rear. Its a green clear rubber tube. With a cap and a hose clamp.Very simple.Cleaned up the rear by removing stock equipment. What I did however was trimmed the hose down cutting back on the amount of brake fluid you could put in.The tube is inch and a half above side kick plate.

well sounds like you cut to much off replace it and don't trim it down so much. helpfull hint i cut mine to about 2 1/2 inches, fill it 3/4 of the way up have someone step on the brake and put the cap this will take out any unneccesary air pressure a small problem i found on my own. if you don't, as you use your rear brake, eventually it will lock up on you or tighten up and you'll feel it or smell it. Hope this helps.....

Yes, I noticed when I capped it it seemed to be under pressure.I will remove cap have someone apply rear brake and reinstall the cap. Thanks for the advice.
