Default Running very rich after flapper mod.

Bone stock bike with flapper mod done. At idle bike is running super rich (heavy smell). Any risk of fouling out the plugs? No visible smoke when getting on it though.

Thanks for the help.

None that I can see. My R1 ran super rich and it would fart a big puff of fuel on hard acceleration but no smell at idle. This ones very rich at idle though, hence the fouling of plugs question.

I did the flapper mod 6k and 4 track days ago w/no probs. Could be something else(?)-Are you remapped PCIII or anything like that? Odds are it's nothin' to worry about but if you made any other mods at the same time you might check them out also.

Here's a thought -- are you absolutely positive you got that vacuum hose sealed up tight? Loss of vacuum would cause the ECU to wonder what the heck is going on. Other than that the array of parts that make up the flapper are in no way connected to anything that controls fueling.
