Just curious..... On my 05 RR --- I wanted to replace the stock driver set of foot pegs. I don't like the look of the "peg feelers" that stick down. I know you can unscrew them, but they still have a little section left that hangs down once the feelers are removed..... So, I was wondering.... Will the passenger foot pegs mount up in place of the stock driver foot pegs? I was thinking of removing my passenger brackets and pegs anyway.... Once this is done, can I remove the passenger pegs from their brackets and replace the driver pegs with these passenger pegs, or not?

My advice is just try it instead of asking about it. I did it on my F2 once out of necessity (the driver peg broke). It bolted up, but the return spring for the driver peg would not mount with the passenger peg so my left side peg would flop around, which is extremely unnerving when your riding down the road and shift your foot position only to have your footpeg fly backward from the wind and you have to search for it before you can get your foot back on it again.

Or take a Tiger Disc to the bottom of the pegs and clean them up.

Thats what I used to get rid of the extra parts on my passenger pegs.
