Question about aftermarket rearsets.
I was looking around some forums and I heard that powder coating is the way to go. Some riders have been saying that regular paint just rubs off and just won't last with the wear and tear. Has anybody in here painted their stock rearsets with just regular paint and had any problems with it coming off?
I haven't had any problems with the spraypaint on my pegs. It has rubbed off on the tops of the little spikes of the foot pegs, but it still looks good. This is an inexpensive, quick fix. Powdercoating is a better option but costs more and you are without your foot pegs for a few days. I am happy with the spraypaint and don't plan on pwdercoating my pegs anytime soon.
