RE: Performance pads??
well thats the thing, most people who say that they are great havent tried anything else.
try a few different brands and then form your own opinion. i can personally vouch for galferHH.
other than that all i can do is show you other peoples experience. which is why i can say that most people who say that they like the ebc have only tried oem and the ebc.

RE: Performance pads??
I, for one, have only used EBC because I know there isn't much of a risk that I'll be disappointed with their performance.
I have been very pleased with the EBC HH pads and have not seen any back plate warpage so far and I have been in plenty of hard-braking situations. Laced up both bikes with HH's.

RE: Performance pads??
I've been using Carbone Lorraine front & rear on my '05 1K and like them a lot, esp. in the wet. I also am running Galfer Waves rotors @ the front and ABM Wave rotor @ the back. This set-up is absolutely wicked!
For a track day bike, I'd go with the Vesrah SRJL... or the HRC (they're very expensive, butworth it).
Cheers

RE: Performance pads??
the vesrah srjl are excellent pads from everyone that i have ever read. for the guy that does one or two track days a year even oem will be fine. from guys i know that do track days every weekend and running ama qualifying times they say srjl or sbs dual carbon
neither pad will heat up enough to be a street pad though.
